KOFFMANN’S DINNER CLUB
Guess who’s coming to dinner...
The Camille Room, Koffmann’s private dining room, will form the setting for a series of gourmet evenings taking place during the course of this year, when Pierre Koffmann and partner Claire Harrison invite bon viveurs to join them for dinner at their own private dinner club.
The format provides Pierre with the perfect excuse for cooking on a grand scale, inspired by family feasts in Gascony, the emphasis being on sharing dishes such as enormous pots-au-feu, suckling pig or a whole Pyrenean lamb. The menus include five tasting courses featuring seasonal ingredients, which Pierre will talk through for the assembled company of 14 dinner guests, explaining the heritage of each and their significance in French cuisine.
Sommelier Marc Botes will also be on hand to speak about his selection of accompanying wines.
Koffmann’s Dinner Club will take place four times a year with the second dinner on Tuesday 28th June. Aperitifs start at 6.30PM, followed by a five-course tasting menu.
