       PLAY TIME
The V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green is an extraordinary celebration to all things Fun. With a permanent collection of toys dating back to over a hundred years, not only does it offer an intriguing history of play, you might also find yourself going down memory lane with its’ comprehensive chronology of twentieth century toys. Plus, there are always events, storytelling and workshops going on. Yippee!

Portobello Market is just one of so many flea markets in London. Visit it on a Friday morning and head for the flyover section (underneath Westway moterway) for the best fashion finds. If antiques are more your thing, Alfie’s Antique Market in Lisson Grove is simply glorious. Amble through the aisles and we defy you not to find something to treasure. Our concierge can point you in just the right direction.

Head to the Design Museum on the banks of the River Thames, before it moves to its new home in Kensington. This fascinating destination is home to a diverse collection that includes bicycles, home furnishings and fashion, telling the story behind their creation and opening our eyes to the importance of design. The museum also offers a series of fun family-orientated ‘Design & Make’ workshops and activity days.
