NEW OGLESBY PLAY OPENS IN WEST END

Date: 03 Feb - 20 Apr 10
Event: Really Old, Like Forty Five
Location: National Theatre

A new play by Tamsin Oglesby, entitled 'Really Old, Like Forty Five', opened in the West End last night (February 3rd).

The Anna Mackmin-directed production is set to run at the National Theatre's Cottesloe until 20th April. The iconic theatre, which is located on the banks of the River Thames, is easily accessed from the five star Berkeley hotel where guests can enjoy a luxury pre-show meal at the Boxwood Cafe.
As part of the National's Spring Season, this new production examines the process of ageing across three generations of the same family. The play takes a look at the "increasingly sinister world" of state-run homes.

Lucy May Barker and Paul Bazely are set to tread the boards of the National alongside Amelia Bullmore Tanya Franks and Gawn Grainger. Thomas Jordan, Michela Meazza, Judy Parfitt, Paul Ritter and Marcia Warren complete the cast.

Visitors to the city in March will also be able to attend a writing master class hosted by Oglesby on the 11th of the month.

Visit the National Theatre for a chance to see some exciting new drama after you check into the Berkeley hotel.
