NEW GARDEN EXHIBITION TO OPEN IN CENTRAL LONDON

Date: 01 Apr - 01 Jun 10
Event: Christopher Lloyd: A Life at Great Dixter
Location: The Garden Museum

A new exhibition displaying the life and work of famous gardener Christopher Lloyd is set to open in central London later this year.

Christopher Lloyd: A Life at Great Dixter is to run at the Garden Museum which sits near the banks of the River Thames from 1st April. The venue, which is situated in the heart of the capital, represents a chance for guests of the nearby five star Berkeley hotel to experience some green spaces in the centre of the capital.

Lloyd is regarded by the museum as "one of the great characters of the 20th century" and this new exhibition will display a number of personal objects from the late plantsman's home, Great Dixter. "Recollections and stories from Christopher's friends and colleagues, examples of his writing and stunning images of his garden [will] piece together a picture of the life behind the garden," said organisers of the event.

Visit the Garden Museum for a green experience within the city after you enjoy a luxury afternoon tea in London at the Berkeley.
