RON ARAD EXHIBITION AT THE BARBICAN

The first major exhibition displaying the work of artist Ron Arad is to open in central London later this month.

Ron Arad: Restless is set to open on 18th February at the Barbican Centre, where it will run until 16th May. The exhibition is easily accessed from the five star Berkeley hotel, where guests can discuss the art over drinks at the luxurious Blue Bar upon their return.

The exhibition will focus on a number of works created by the "design maverick" over a thirty-year period. According to the Barbican, the exhibition will explore the artist's "post-punk approach of assembling products from readymade parts to his exclusive and highly polished sculptural furnishings".

A "dramatic exhibition", which employs the "latest LED display technology", is also set to feature as part of the display. Organisers of the event said the exhibition will "highlight the significance of experimentation" in the world of art.
