'POETIC' CIRCUS ACT TO PERFORM IN LONDON
Date: 09 Mar - 14 Mar 10
Event: Circa
Location: Barbican
A "poetic" take on traditional circus acts is to open in the heart of London next week.
Circa is set to run at the
Barbican centre from 9th to 14th March. The event represents the ideal opportunity for a family day out in the city for guests of the
five star Berkeley hotel, where guests can enjoy a luxury family meal at the
Boxwood Cafe before heading to the event.
On the back of a successful run at the
Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Circa is set to perform to London crowds who will be treated to "movement at its most adventurous and dangerous". Organisers of the event said: "Circa's signature style combines physical beauty, formidable circus skills and an immersive and integral use of sound, light and projection. The result is a new kind of circus, at once poetic, sensual and immense."
Directed by
Yaron Lifschitz, the production is set to feature performances from acclaimed acrobats
Darcy Grant, Freyja Edney, Scott Grove, Emma McGovern, Jesse Scott, Emma Serjeant and Lewis West.
Visit the
Barbican centre to see some adventurous movement after you book
two rooms for the price of one at the Berkeley.
