• David Collins was responsible for the Blue Bar, restoring and incorporating wood panelling designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, in whose honour Collins created a paint colour he christened “Lutyens Blue”. He also created the dining room and chef’s table in Marcus Wareing’s restaurant.
• Robert Angell’s Balcony King rooms command a stunning, uninterrupted view of London’s skyline.
• New York interiors guru Alexandra Champalimaud led a stunning refurbishment of the ballroom, and created the discrete ambience of The Caramel Room.
• Every morning, beautifully stylish floral arrangements arrive glistening fresh from couture flower emporium McQueens.
• Every afternoon, the latest catwalk creations become delicate confectionary served on Paul Smith-designed fine bone china at Prêt-à-Portea.
