Mouth-watering Prêt-à-Portea delicacies with a fashionista twist
The Berkeley London designer afternoon tea, Prêt-à-Portea, is inspired by the themes and colours of the fashion world. The menu is transformed every six months to follow the changing seasons in fashion.
Inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2009 fashion collections, this season's afternoon tea at The Berkeley in London includes designs by Christian Dior, Burberry, Christian Lacroix , Louis Vuitton, and Mulberry.
Prêt-à-Portea is served in the Caramel Room daily from 1pm to 6pm.

Roger Vivier chocolate ‘over-the-knee’ boot biscuit with signature buckle and heart
Louis Vuitton pale pink bunny ears on a base of chestnut and pomegranate mousse
Christian Lacriox dark chocolate dress with soft centre and chic golden bow
Emilio de la Morena caramelized banana mousse with red currant jam and over-sized chocolate collar
Burberry Prorsum classic trench coat biscuit with rich cinnamon flavours and caramel belt and buttons
Matthew Williamson joconde sponge cake dress filled with lychee cream and spun sugar ruffles
Christian Dior almond macaroon with layered texture and white chocolate and blueberry ganache

All prices are inclusive of VAT. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill.
Prêt-à-Portea is now available by delivery aboard a Vespa adorned in the famous Pret colours of pistachio green and pale pink. Your delivery comes complete with handbag take away boxes stowed in a much larger bespoke handbag carrier which perches itself on the back of the Vespa. Fashionistas can send fellow fashion fans set boxes of 10 biscuits for £25 including delivery to the SW1 area.
