    • Out and about in London

Recommended by our very own General Manager, Knut Wylde

Old hands and newbies alike will be thrilled to discover some of the things London has to offer this winter, and we’re looking forward to helping you find the best. Some might seem obvious, but there are a few ever-so-slightly off the beaten track that will add the perfect note to your stay here with us.

      Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

This is the biggest of the outdoor rinks in London (at 1,600 square metres), set around a Victorian bandstand with 100,000 twinkling lights strung over the rink - a magical setting. The Winter Wonderland also has a Christmas market, Magical Ice Kingdom, circus and fairground attractions; a popular rink with families. November 18, 2016 - January 2, 2017

      V&A Museum

A short walk will take you to the V&A Museum for the 'You Say You Want a Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-1970', a major exhibition that explores the revolutionary spirit that emerged from the mid-1960s and has permeated our culture ever since. Read our guide to the event on The Season. September 10, 2016 - February 26, 2017

      Royal Academy of Arts
