One of London’s most sought-after destinations since it opened in 2000, the Blue Bar has completed a six-month refurbishment and is set once again to spearhead London’s bar scene with the most sophisticated, colourful cocktails in town. The Blue Bar now occupies a state-of-the-art glass extension at the front of The Berkeley, giving it a new spaciousness and sense of place. The bar retains the iconic Lutyens Blue panelling originally conceived by David Collins studio, and its original Edwin Lutyens lighting, alongside refreshing new pieces designed by Collins’s protégé Robert Angell. The extended, lighter space encourages a fun, lively ambience, in which our skilled and knowledgeable mixologists can serve up exclusive signature cocktails with impeccable style and a touch of razzle-dazzle.

The Blue Bar operates a no reservation policy.
You can also choose from over 50 different whiskies, a fine collection of champagnes and an extensive list of spirits, many of them rare labels or bottlings. To complement your drink, we serve light, savoury and sweet dishes and canapés.
The stand-out feature of the Blue Bar is its striking Lutyens Blue colour scheme originally created by David Collins and retained by designer Rob Angell as part of a refreshed new look. The white onyx bar and black crocodile-print leather floor
combine with listed features from the original Berkeley of Berkeley Square. The room’s glass extension, designed by architects Rogers Stirk Harbour in 2016, enhances the sophisticated atmosphere and helps to prolong summer evenings.
